swimming suits and yoga fun

just got done with an hour long work out session, and feeling good.  it’s looking like another yucky day here, rain and wind.  so that botched up our four-wheeling plans for today.  looks like another day at the water park…  i hate getting into my swimsuit.  i was forced to buy a one peice as i kept gaining more and more this winter.  i wanted one of those skirt ones to hide my butt and the cellulite on the top of my thighs (can’t wear shorts on the water slide, it’s the rules).  anyways i went to 4 different stores to price them, and wow, i’m not spending $60 on a swimsuit, it’s just not happening.   so finally i found a brand new one at good will for $7, still had the store tags on and everything.  looked great, except that it’s a small…  i can squeeze myself into it, but it’s a struggle, and not the most comfortable :), oh well.  on the bright side, the kids (4 and 5) are too scared to go down the waterslide alone, and they prefer to go down with me instead of daddy.  so i take them each 5x (a total of 10x), and it’s 3 full flights of stairs i’ve got to go up, then take a break for awhile, but we do this a few times while we are there, so that will burn some calories.

i made it through dinner last night.  made pizza for everyone else, and did yoga through dinner.  the kids have never seen me do it before, and they were just being too funny.  i was ignoring them, so i could keep my focus, and once they realized that, they really had a good time with it.  they were like, “look at cassie, she’s sticking her butt out at us!”  then they were setting their stuffed animals on me, and they were like, “look duckie is exercising too!”  then they were trying to jump over me or crawl under me, and just doing all kinds of goofy stuff.  i lost it and laughed a few times.  it went well though, after we got them to sleep, i took the dogs for a walk and rewarded myself with an 80 cal push pop.  and i had  a cup of chicken broth 5 cal, while i was watching saturday night live.  so pretty darn good, considering i was already at my calorie max from lunch.

well, i’ve got to get off, and get lunch made, the kids will be home from church soon and everyone will be hungry.  happy mother’s day to all the moms out there - i hope it’s a great one!!
